Privacy notice

What this website collects, why, and the choices you have. Last updated November 5, 2026.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, we collect what you type into the form: your name, email address, the kind of help you are looking for and your message, plus your company, website, budget and timeline if you choose to add them. If you arrive from one of our concept previews, the concept's public name is included.

When you visit the site, Cloudflare, which delivers and protects it, processes your IP address and browser details to serve pages and block abuse. To limit spam, our server keeps a one-way hash of your IP address in memory for ten minutes; it is never written to disk.

Cookies and analytics. We do not set cookies and we do not use advertising trackers. Cloudflare Web Analytics gives us aggregated visit statistics without cookies or personal profiles, and Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie. If you use the motion setting, your choice is saved in your own browser and never sent to us.

How we use it

We use enquiry details to reply to you, to prepare a scope and quote if you ask for one, and to keep a record of our conversation. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Where it is kept

Enquiries are stored on a server operated by Northline Pros, in a file only we can access. When email notifications are switched on, the details of your enquiry are also sent to our email provider so that we are alerted.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and delete enquiries that do not lead to a project within 24 months. Records about client projects are kept for as long as the work and our legal obligations require.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you sent us. Send a request through our contact form and mention privacy in your message. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Concept previews

Our concept websites use fictional businesses. Their forms are demonstrations and never send anything, and the phone numbers and email addresses shown are not real.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its date.
