A practical studio for websites and the work behind them
Northline Pros designs and builds websites, automation and business software for Canadian small and medium businesses. We care about things that work on a Tuesday afternoon: fast pages, clear processes and systems people can keep running.
How we approach the work
Thoughtful design
Clear pages, honest copy and layouts that work on a phone first. Every element earns its place by helping someone decide or act.
Useful automation
We automate the repetitive parts of a process and keep people in charge of decisions, with approvals wherever a mistake would matter.
Maintainable software
Readable code, documented setups and tools you can keep running. Nothing that only we can understand.
Clear communication
Written scopes and quotes before work starts, plain-language updates while it happens, and straight answers when something changes.
How we use AI
AI is a tool in our work and in what we build, never a replacement for judgement.
In our own work, AI helps with research, first drafts, design exploration and writing code. A person reviews everything before it reaches you.
In the systems we build, AI handles defined tasks: reading an enquiry, pulling details from a document, drafting a reply. Each task has limits on what it may do, spending caps, logs you can review and a clear handoff to a person.
An AI agent is software that can take several steps toward a goal, for example reading a request, checking your calendar and preparing a reply. We only let agents act on their own where a mistake is cheap to undo, and we put a person in the loop everywhere else.
What you can count on
- Written scopes and project-specific quotes before work starts
- Nothing is sent to your customers without a person approving it
- No invented reviews, results or claims on your website
- You keep access to your accounts, content and documentation
- Clear limits and monitoring on every AI feature we build
- Plain-language updates, and straight answers when plans change
How a project runs
The same four stages for a website, an automation or custom software. You see real progress early and decide at every step.
Discover
We learn how your business works today: who your customers are, which tools you use and where the time goes. Then we agree on what to build first.
Design and build
We work in the open. You see real pages and working automations early, in a private preview, and shape them as they come together.
Test and refine
We test on real phones and browsers with sample data, and check accessibility, speed, every form and every automation path.
Launch and improve
We launch carefully, watch the first weeks closely and keep improving: new pages, new automations and fixes as your business changes.
Tell us what you want to improve.
A slow website, a full inbox, a process held together by spreadsheets. Describe it in a few lines and we will come back with questions and a sensible first step.
- We read your enquiry and reply by email.
- A short call to understand the work and your tools.
- A written scope and a project-specific quote.
